Plan and Brick Best Practices

1. Avoid adding quantities in the plan the name or definition
When giving your plan a name or defining what's included in the plan (the plan definition), avoid adding quantities to these fields.
The primary reasons for this best practice include:
Name, and Definition are text fields; any entitlement details will be lost or obfuscated in reports and relevant systems syncing with Salesbricks (i.e., your CRM)
Upselling or downgrading the customer from the original plan requires you to create a new plan and move the customer to that plan to adjust the quantity of that item. This can lead to plan proliferation (creating a unique plan for each iteration of the SKU quantities sold) and confusion for your sellers.

Instead, quantities should be added as Bricks. Within the brick configuration, quantities can be marked as included so they appear as a line item on the order as a zero-dollar item.
