Sandbox Environment
Last updated: July 7, 2026
Overview
A Salesbricks sandbox environment gives your team a safe, isolated space to test your product catalog, order flows, and checkout configuration without affecting your live data or real customers.
The sandbox is a full copy of your production account, including your products, plans, company settings, team members, and feature gates — connected to Stripe's test mode so no real charges are ever made.
Sandbox environments are provisioned by Salesbricks Support on request.
---
What's Included in a Sandbox Environment
When Salesbricks sets up your sandbox, the following are automatically copied from your production account:
What's copied | Details |
|---|---|
Products & plans | All active products and their plan versions |
Company settings | Branding, payment methods, billing configuration, and more |
Team members | All admin users from your production account |
Feature gates | The same feature set enabled for your production account |
Terms documents | Active, non-redlined terms documents |
Note: The sandbox is isolated from your production account. Orders, subscriptions, customers, and invoices created in the sandbox will not appear in your production environment.
---
Sandbox Logins
Each team member who has an admin role in your production account receives a separate sandbox login. Sandbox credentials are independent from your production credentials — you cannot use your existing password to sign in to the sandbox.
Here's what to expect:
Each admin team member receives an account activation email with the subject line "Activate sandbox account" sent to a sandbox-specific email address derived from their production email (in the format `you+salesbricks-sandbox@yourcompany.com`).
The email contains an Activate button. Clicking it opens the Salesbricks account activation page in your browser.
After activating, you are prompted to set a new password for your sandbox account.
---
How to Request a Sandbox
Sandbox environments are created by the Salesbricks Support team. You cannot create one directly from within the platform.
To request a sandbox environment:
Contact Salesbricks Support through your shared Slack channel, or at support[at]salesbricks.com.
Let our team know you need a sandbox environment provisioned for your org.
Support will set up the sandbox and trigger account activation emails to all admin team members on your account.
Each admin receives an "Activate sandbox account" email. Open the email and click Activate.
You are taken to the Salesbricks account activation page, where your account is confirmed. You are then redirected to set a new password for your sandbox login.
Sign in to your sandbox account using your sandbox email address (`you+salesbricks-sandbox@yourcompany.com`) and the password you just created.
If you did not receive the activation email, check your spam folder or contact Salesbricks Support to have the email resent.
If your sandbox account was already activated and you need a new password, visit the Forgot Password page and use your sandbox email address.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add more team members to the sandbox after it's created?
Yes. Once your sandbox account is active, admins can invite additional team members from within the sandbox environment just as they would in production.
Will changes I make in the sandbox affect my production account?
No. The sandbox is fully isolated. Any orders, customers, or configuration changes made in the sandbox do not carry over to your live account.
Are Stripe charges real in the sandbox?
No. The sandbox uses Stripe test mode, so all payment activity is simulated and no real charges are processed.
