What happens to existing orders that were created before legal entities were set up?

Existing orders are unaffected. They will continue to render under your seller-level details. The legal entity field will show your seller default.

Can I change the legal entity on a closed or active order?

No. The legal entity is locked once an order is no longer in the building stage. For invoices, you can change the legal entity while the invoice is still in a draft state.

Do renewals and upgrades inherit the legal entity from the original order?

Yes. When Salesbricks generates a renewal, upgrade, or recast, it automatically copies the legal entity from the originating order. The picker is disabled on those order types.

Can I have more than two legal entities?

Yes. There is no fixed limit on the number of legal entities configured for your account. All configured entities will appear in the picker dropdown.
